While I was looking on some blogs I came across this funny comic from the Joy of Tech comic strip about the latest iPhone app to be banned. The app with its catchy name of 'Hottest Girls - 2020+ Sexy Bikini Babes and Lingerie Models' was approved and then removed by apple because, "Apple will not distribute applications that contain inappropriate content,".

Others apps in the past that have been banned inlcuded the baby shaking app where the user had to shake their iPhone until the baby stopped crying and two crosses appeared over its eyes. Not the best thing to be allowed into the app store considering all the news on childrens deaths due to mistreatment in the UK at the time. In addition there was the 'I am rich' app which got pulled after only 8 people had a chance to buy it. At $1000 each the only thing the app did was act as a glorified screensaver and show to everyone around you that you had more money than sense.

Lastly there was iBoob which was rejected after it was deemed the application was too "pornographic", which might be a good thing otherwise we were going to have so many men losing their jobs from shaking their iPhones all the time!
