Last weekend a few of the (untitled) crew and guests were invited to the Hop Farm Festival in Kent (just incase you hadn't heard, we did the website and all the print advertising) and I think it is safe to say that everyone had an amazing time.
Representing the squad for the whole weekend I drove down with some friends on the Friday and after pitching our massive tent in the dark we made out way to the bar and had a well deserved drink...and then a few more. The atmosphere in the campsite was great and we made some great friends (and a few enemies who apperently forgot they were at a festival) along the way.
Over the next couple of days we saw some great bands such as The View, White Denim, Doves, Super Furry Animals, Ladyhawke, Mystery Jets (to name a few) but I think my favourite performance was from Florence and the Machine. I especially loved it when they did my new favourite song 'Dog Days' which you can listen to and, like me, annoy all your work collegaues with by clicking here.
We were very lucky with the weather and a lot of us were quite sun kissed by the end of the Saturday, some more than others as apparently my colour was a combination of David Dickinson and Donatella Versace.
After a heavy Saturday night the rest of the squad joined us on the Sunday for a more relaxed and subdued day in the sun. We rounded up the day in the dance tent making some shapes on the dancefloor to a set by 2ManyDJs, who were incredible, which tired everyone out for a nice sleep on the journey home. Well, everyone except me that is as I was the driver but after 2 hours, lots of loud music and the air con on full blast I made it home for a much needed kip.
Many thanks to everyone at Hop Farm for an amazing weekend, can't wait for next year!
