Strange new ventures from Microsoft today. Presumably in response to the fact Apple have got the image thing pinned down; turquoise in-store t-shirts and kings of the thick-glasses look, whilst Microsoft dither with the image of Peep Show's Mark playing the PC in fuddy-duddy 80s suit and other strange images (see our numerous past posts on the matter including strange Microsoft in-store dancing). Microsoft's been giving some PC chaps makeovers.

The latest makeover appears on Joe Belfoire, VP of the Windows phone program, as he unveiled a Windows 7 Smartphone today in new garb, and haircut. Not only this, but Chief Experience Office, J Allard who's been given a shaven head and a new wardrobe whilst presenting new video games.

So, the basics of getting the 'Microsoft look' include shaved heads, zip-up hoodies (either pin-stripe or wor with hoods), dark t-shirts coupled with suit jackets, and jeans. Here's some darling before and after images via Gawker.
