It existed from 1935 and for 74 years was the film choice of professionals and amateurs alike. Many iconic images produced during the period of its manufacture were shot on the stock. It's extensive range of colour capture was particularly brilliant at capturing the red area of the spectrum. You can see some excellent examples of the film's qualities here.
